摘要

The influence of a stress less than the yield point(0.7 #sigma#_(0.2)) and equal to the short-term strength#sigma#_B and of a large deformation (to failure) in uniaxialtension at various rates (10~(-4)-10~(-2) sec~(-1)) on theaustenite-martensite phase transformation in the surface layer ofhardened 36N14 alloy with a nonequilibrium two-phasestructure #alpha# + #gamma# at room temperature isinvestigated. The laws of #gamma#->#alpha# transformation inthe surface layer of the steel over its depth and the propagationof this transformation along the sample as a function of theexternal stress and tension rate are established.
