Block Carbon Articles of Cellular Structure: Special Processing Features,Range of Applications

摘要

In catalytic and sorption processes mineral and carbon-mineral block articles find at present growing application.In the Institute of Problems of Hydrocarbons Processing,Siberian Division,Russian Academy of Sciences,a process was developed for production of blocks of cellular structure containing 99 wt% of carbon with a developed porous structure of adjustable pore volume V_∑ = 0.2-0.5 cm~3 g~(-1),specific area ABET = 5-500 m~2g~(-1) pore radius 4-40 nm,and mechanical strength 40-120 kg cm~(-2).
