摘要

The activity coefficients at infinite dilution were determined and used for estimating the maximum selectivity of twenty different separating agents for the propylene oxide-methanol pair formed during propylene oxide synthesis. Protic and aprotic solvents were compared in terms of their effectivity. A relationship between the maximum selectivity and physicochemical properties of the solvent was established.
