The conditions of the appearance of an unusual deformation zone consisting only of a forward slip zone during cold rolling and skin rolling are considered. The energy—force and structure parameters of metal deformation in such deformation zones are simulated. In this case, substantial energy saving is achieved; however, they can only be actualized in a real continuous mill by increasing the forward tension to the level that sharply increases the strip break probability. The process with such a deformation zone can be performed on a pinch-pass mill at an acceptable level of forward tension (up to 35% of the yield strength), and about 50% electric energy can be saved in this case.
