摘要

Experimental results obtained with a direct methanol fuel cell are presented.Cell catalyst loading of 1 mg cm2 has been used both for anode (Pt-Ru/C) and cathode (Pt/C).The increasing of performance has been realized by the optimisation of the operating parameters:temperature and oxidant nature (air or oxygen).The Nafion 117 addition in catalyst layer had a favourable effect upon fuel cell performance.Maximum power density of over 130 mW cm~(-2) has been achieved at 100°C with oxygen as oxidant.Also,the methanol crossover has been studied.
