Living legends may be in short supply, but it's fair to say Mick Jagger has well and truly earned that title, over the course of a career spanning more than half a century. Mick Jagger -The Photobook charts The Rolling Stone's progression from fledgling rocker in 1964 to elder statesman in 2008. Exhibition curator Francois Hebel makes some bold claims in his introduction to the collection, not least that Jagger's face tells the story of 50 years of portrait practice. It is a point well proven though, as he explains how each decade represented in these pages demonstrates a wide range of photographers experimenting with new approaches to portraiture.
