Influence of Cutting Conditions and Tool Wear on the Cutting Parameters for Numerically Controlled Machine Tools

We choose an incomplete cubic function as the mathematical model M{y} = β_0 + β_1x_1 + β_2x_2+β_3x_3 + β_(12)x_1x_2 + β_(13)x_1x_3 + β_(23)x_2x_3 + β_(123)x_1x_2x_3. To obtain estimates of the coefficients in this equation, we use an experiment of 2~3 type. The basic levels of the factors are selected close to those employed in practice, while their ranges are based on their actual fluctuation (Table 1).
