87.15% jump in Apollo's net profit

Apollo Tyres posted a 87.15% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 3.38 billion for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013, from Rs 1.81 billion in the same period of 2012. Consolidated net sales of the company rose to Rs 34.75 billion during the third quarter compared to Rs 32.17 billion during the year-ago period. Operating profit stood at Rs 6.19 billion from Rs 4.1 billion.
