Recognition for successful NR research

For Tilak B. Bhandari, Executive Director, Institute of Rubber & Jatropha Research, Nepal, the MD Basnet Technology Academy Award 2011 from Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) is a well-deserved recognition of his long years of fruitful research in natural rubber. A proud recipient of Nepal Felicitation 2011 Award and Jewels of the Nepal 2011 Award, Bhandari is a pioneer, scholar and successful researcher on rubber plantation. He is also recognised as one the scientists for extraction of A-grade RSS 1 raw material from rubber latex and has over 27 years of extensive work experience in the field of agronomic/industrial crops with industries like CARE International and Gorakhali Rubber Industry Ltd. (GRUL), Nepal.
