In my last article, I covered how the quality and yield in a latex dipping plant can be improved by the application of a well-planned and implemented scheme for the analysis of defects. This time, I would like to dip into another method of troubleshooting and process control which I have found to be very useful at times — the Cumulative Sum or CUSUM.
