Interior automotive parts made from natural-fibre nonwovens [German]

Nonwoven sandwich structures based on natural-fibre blends, PP and other synthetic fibres offer the advantage of light weight in interior automotive applications. In the event of side impact, such components do not fracture with a sharp edge and so passenger safety is increased. The article describes a method for the production of these nonwovens.
