摘要

Branding of agriculture commodity has no longer been articulated as a revelation in domestic as well as international marketing arena. The emergence of farm to fork business models has added momentum in branding consumer consumable products like milk, water, poultry products etc. Agriculture marketing historically has been organised on a local basis with local aggregators supplying products to the domestic demand. The broad marketing arena has not been a major concern for the local aggregators and other participants in the supply chain during the pre-Independence period.
