Synthomer plans expansion and relocation of R&D

Synthomer Sdn Bhd, a member of the Yule Catto plc Group of companies, has announced significant further expansion at its Kluang Malaysia plant in order to support continued growth in demand for nitrile (acrylonitrile-butadiene) latex used in the manufacture of nitrile gloves.A second expansion in 2007 is currently approaching completion and this will take the annual capacity of this plant to 100,000 wet tonnes per annum.
