Japan on recovery path

Japan's economy is expected to pick up in 2015 and 2016 after weakening last year on a sharper than expected contraction in consumption, the International Monetary Fund says. IMF has raised its forecast for Japan's growth in 2015 by 0.4 point to 1.0% in real terms, mainly thanks to the yen's weakness and lower crude oil prices.
