Apollo's net profit rises 50%

Net sales of Apollo Tyres Ltd. surged by 5% to Rs 127.9 billion in the year 2012-13 from Rs 121.5 billion in the same period last year. Operating profit grew 29% to reach Rs 15.5 billion from Rs 12 billion while net profit increased 50% to Rs 6.1 billion from Rs 4.1 billion in the previous year.
