RRISL develops micro irrigation system

The Rubber Research Institute of Sri Lanka (RRISL) has developed a micro irrigation system for efficient water management in agriculture, including rubber plantations. Micro irrigation includes all methods of frequent water application in small flow rates on or below the soil surface. The systems used in micro irrigation include Drip (individual emitters and drip gates), Trickle, Sprinkler or spray and Porous tube.
