India's NR consumption far exceeds supply

Consumption of natural rubber in India far exceeded production during the three months of April-June 2013. NR production, which was affected by disruption of rubber tapping caused by heavy monsoon, amounted to 166,000 tonnes while the consumption was 247,000 tonnes, according to Rubber Board, India.
