Performance of the natural rubber producing sector has been quite satisfactory during the first ten months of the financial year 2011-12. Progress of production at 784,400 tonnes is very much in line with the growth projected by the Rubber Board. The Rubber Board estimated the output at 902,000 tonnes at 4.6% growth. And the production so far has moved ahead smoothly at the same growth rate of 4.6%.
