BASF plans SAP plants in China, N.America

BASF, the world's leading chemical company, proposes to build plants for the production of superabsorbent polymers (SAP) in fast growing emerging markets. In South America, BASF will build a SAP plant in Ca-macari, Brazil, with an annual capacity of 60,000 metric tonnes.
