Rs 2445 million development plans for India's North-East

The Indian Rubber Board has chalked out plans worth Rs 2445 million for developing rubber plantations in the country's North-East. These plans, scheduled to be implemented during the period upto 2011-12, have already been approved by the Central Government. The Director Board meeting of the Rubber Board recently held in Agartala, the capital of Tripura, was attended by the State Chief Minister Manik Sarakar.
