A number of 4-dialkylamino-5-mercapto-l,2-dithiole-3-thiones were synthesized by reac-tions of alkyl(diisopropyl)amines with S_2C1_2.Their reactions with S_2C1_2-DABCO unexpect-edly gave 5-chloro-4-dialkylamino-l,2-dithiol-3-ones.
