By now you've certainly heard the news from the National Bureau of Economic Research:The U.S.is in a recession.No duh.In fact,it has been in the economic toilet since December 2007.The official call by the council comes very late,as far as we mere mortals are concerned.Everyone else already assumed the U.S.economy was in recession.
