Fueling change Gates' hose lines meet emission standards

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—Gates Corp.'s Selective Catalytic Reduction and Barricade hose lines go hand-in-hand in addressing emission reduction challenges. So far, the products have met the challenge. The SCR hose line was developed to convey the diesel emissions fluid the SCR system uses to convert nitrogen oxides into diatomic nitrogen gas and water. Because diesel emission fluid freezes at 11°F, the hose needs to have a significant heating element to transport the fluid.
