Goodyear Orient names new managing director

SINGAPORE-Peter Tan, managing director of Goodyear Orient Co. (Pvt.) Ltd., will retire at year-end after 39 years with the company, and Goodyear has named Franco Fan, manager, Asia raw materials, to succeed him. Tan joined Goodyear in 1972 as a rubber inspector and became the company's specification officer in 1974, Goodyear said.
