PHILADELPHIA-Stockwell Elas-tomerics Inc. has developed a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive that addresses shelf life, temperature and liner concerns.The company's Stockwell DP-1001 silicone PSA has an easy-to-remove, poly-imide film release liner that separates from the adhesive faster, improving productivity and reducing scrap and damage to parts such as gaskets and cushioning pads. The product also performs well at low and high temperatures, an improvement over the PET film carrier typically used as a release liner with adhesives.
