Polypropylene. The automotive industry is increasingly searching for more lightweight materi- als. This is because the European Union is tightening up the limits on CO2 emissions from passenger cars coming onto the market in the next few years. A newly developed polypropylene compound offers the required potential for lightweight construction and closes the gap between polypropylene and polyamide.
