PROCESS TECHNOLOGY. Processing of natural fiber-reinforced plastics in a single energy-optimized production process has significant benefits: the sensitive natural fibers are treated gently, emission of odors during processing and from the finished parts is reduced - and, since the intermediate step of pelletizing can be dispensed with when injection molding, energy savings of over 40% compared to a two-step production process are possible.
