POLYURETHANE SANDWICH COMPOSITES. Lightweight cargo-floor or roof-module designs for future ear models can be realized using polyurethane sandwich composites. The special systems can be tailored for economic production at the customer's factory. This provides the automotive industry with a lightweight alternative to comparable components made of metal, sheet molding compound (SMC) or thermoplastics.
