Hepatitis B vaccines containing preS1 and preS2 fragments are assumed to be more immunogenic than those containing SHBs protein alone, which may be of importance for immunization of people with poorly induced or without any immunological response after vaccination. The aim of this study was to evaluate:. ?The immune response profile after administration of vaccine containing preS1 and preS2 and after immunization with vaccine with S protein alone;?Similarities and differences in the range and strength of the anamnestic response after immunization with studied vaccines;?Presence of correlation between humoral and cellular immunological response after vaccination. The following conclusions can be drawn on the basis of obtained results. Both vaccines have capability to induce anamnestic immunological response. However, vaccine with preS fragments induced significantly higher humoral immunological response, while after administration of vaccine with SHBs component, cellular response was stronger. PreS containing vaccine induced high level of humoral response, which was accompanied by weaker cellular response. Vaccination with S vaccine resulted in weaker humoral response accompanied by intensive proliferation of cells and cytokines synthesis This may indicate differences in mutual influences of cellular and humoral activities in course of generation of anamnestic immune response.
