More than 55 percent of commercial roofing contractors say they have processed warranties via the Internet. However, this statistic is no surprise to roofing manufacturer Johns Manville of Denver. In the first six month that the supplier set up warranty processing on its Web site, JMConnexus has attracted more than 600 users, representing about 550 different contractors.Since the service first went live, the company has processed more than 1,400 guarantee applications. "The rate at which we are getting these applications is also picking up considerably," said Larry Glass, eBusiness content manager and codes administration, Johns Manville.
