A Sense of Wonder is a phenomenon in North America, but most of you may not have heard about it, in part because it's a one-woman Show and there is only one woman, Kaiulani Lee, who 'can truly be' Rachel Carson on on stage. Lee is a successful American actress (not Hawaiian as I at first guessed because of her intriguing given name) who wrote the play on the urgings of Carson's publisher. She's been performing A Sense of Wonder for a decade and is booked solid for another two years at least, largely in support of conservation organizations [my exposure was through a three-performance tour of Nova Scotia (Wolfville, Antigonish, Halifax) sponsored by the Nova Scotia Nature Trust].
