Behind the Scenes at Mineralogical Almanac

During the past ten years, many of us have marveled at this publication, Mineralogical Almanac, coming out of Russia. I don't know about you, but I was curious about the people behind the scenes and the story of how this magazine came to be. Two names, Michael Leybov and Ludmila (Egorova) Cheshko, sum up the story of the magazine. I was delighted when asked to write this article because I would get to know-as you will-two of the most talented, sweetest, positive people to pass through the mineral world.
