Role of Ocean-Atmosphere Exchange in a Global Mercury Model

摘要

This study examines the flux of elemental mercury between the ocean and atmosphere in a global model. We determine the seasonal and spatial distribution of the flux as a function of solubility and temperature only and also as a function of biological and photochemical oceanic production.
