Bloom caster modernization at ISCOR Newcastle Works (RSA). Improved steel quality and plant performance

ISCOR Newcastle Works is a major steel producer of longproducts in South Africa. In order to enhance operating efficiency and productquality, the steelmaking plant had to be modernized. Upgrading of the bloomcasters was part of this project.
