Separation of the TBP-kerosene extraction mixture using formic acid was studied, and the optimal process parameters were determined. The experimental data strongly suggest formation of the solvate (C_(4)H_(9)O)_(3)PO·3HCOOH. The thorium distribution in separation of the TBP-kerosene mixture into two phases was studied.
