It is a pleasure to reminisce about treasured times with Larry Yannuzzi, a dear friend and colleague. We have shared a similar interest in retinal diseases for more than 40 years. In the mid 1970s, we first met Larry as we were each developing a practice in fundus diseases in New York City (L.Y.) and Philadelphia (J.A.S., C.L.S.). Diagnostic techniques for the eye were in evolution, and we shared experiences in these "new" imaging modalities like fluorescein angiogra-phy and ultrasonography and "new" treatment methods like laser photocoagufation. Those early days built the foundation for our eventual specialty practices in "Macular Conditions" (L.Y.) and "Ocular Oncology" (J.A.S., C.L.S.).
