摘要

Ophthalmic artery occlusion or orbital infarction is a rare complication of neurosurgical operations caused by increased orbital pressure that is induced by ocular compression.1'2 The electroretinogram (ERG) has been recorded in some of these cases after such incidences showing permanent nonrecordable responses.2 We describe a patient with a transient ophthalmic artery occlusion during neurosurgery whose ERG responses recovered to nearly normal levels in spite of no light perception vision.
