摘要

Catalytic ring opening reactions of alpha-epoxyketones by boron trifluoride supported on hydroxyapatite-encapsulated-gamma-Fe2O3 [gamma-Fe2O3@HAp-BF3 -CH3OH2 (+)] as a heterogeneous, reusable and highly efficient catalyst in methanol solution at room temperature resulted in the formation of alpha-hydroxyl-beta-methoxyketones through C-beta-O cleavage in excellent yields. The catalyst can be easily separated by a magnet and reused for several cycles.
