UV or EB curing screen printing ink containing a high amount of renewable/sustainable material

The use of ink formulations based on epoxidised vegetable or animal oil is an alternative to the use of materials based on crude oil technology. However, epoxidised vegetable oils, in cationic curing systems, are not suitable for UV or EB curing in screen printing inks due to low reactivity. Typical dose levels from 70-300mJ/cm2 are usually too low for curing pigmented systems.
