In manufacturing and construction applications, such as outdoor deck flooring, railings, fencing, landscaping timbers, cladding, sidings, benches, etc, composite substrates are often used. These substrates are typically cementitious, plastic, ceramic and engineered wood and are often coated. However, these coatings suffer from drawbacks which are addressed with the suggested compositions.
