Polymerization induced phase separation in photo-initiated systems

Although radiation curing provides greater spatial and temporal control cure than alternative curing methods, it does suffer from shrinkage. One approach to reducing (if not eliminating) the shrinkage is to develop heterogeneous networks; for example, by polymerisation-induced phase separation.
