Meeting with Minister

ESA raised key issues at a recent meeting with the Environment Minister, Dan Norris MP. Following ESA's analysis, the Minister agreed to pursue ESA's concerns regarding the draft contract currently being drafted by Defra for residual waste treatment.ESA outlined concerns regarding the implementation of the Waste Framework Directive in the UK and in particular urged the Minister to do what he could in Brussels to ensure that the Rl recovery status of municipal waste incinerators would be known and stable from the outset.
