Draft Zero Waste Plan Launched in Scotland

The Scottish Government has launched a consultation on a draft Zero Waste Plan -which outlines government thinking on long-term waste management initiatives in the country.In the plan, the Scottish Government seeks views from stakeholders on issues such as whether there should be material-specific landfill bans in the country and also whether it should have the right to determine its own rate of landfill tax.
