Sourcing the right equipment to efficiently and effectively process materials collected for recycling remains one of the most significant costs faced by recyclers - from construction waste, to glass and plastics. This view is supported by a recently published Waste & Resources Action Programme, (WRAP) survey into the business conditions experienced by the recycling sector at the start of 2009, which found that purchasing or leasing capital equipment remained the overwhelming reason for firms to seek finance.
