This paper reports upon the cationic polymerisation of two commercially available di-epoxides; 6105 and 6128. The polymerisation reactions were followed by photo-differential scanning calorimetry (photo DSC). Importandy, the authors studied the rates of polymerisation at different temperatures and showed that as the temperature increased, the percentage conversion increased. In all probability, an increase in temperature led to an increase in the rate, but this was difficult to assess from the published data.
