Low viscosity diluting reactive monomers surfer from the problems of odour and irritancy. They are often incorporated in inkjet formulations to reduce the viscosity where dendritic polymers are used. Dendritic polymers have the advantage of a high density of functional groups compared with linear polymers. Water or organic solvents can also be added, but require a drying phase prior to the UV curing process.
