Vinyl esters typically display reactivity in UV curing reactions between acrylates and methacrylates, but vinyl esters bearing easily abstractable hydrogen atoms are significantly slower than traditional monomers. The perceived advantage of being able to use vinyl esters is their low irritancy and cytotoxicity.
