SGL and Samsung establish joint venture for carbon fibre composites

THE SGL Group and Samsung have established a marketing and sales joint venture to develop new industrial and electronic applications for carbon composites for Samsung and the Korean market. The joint venture partners, Samsung Petrochemical, a producer of purified tere-phthalic acid (PTA) located ir Korea, and carbon fibre producer SGL Group of Germany, will each hold a 50% share.
