A Review on Survival Analysis in Medical Journals Using SWOT as a Tool

SWOT analysis Is a classic strategic planning tool. Using a fiamewoik of internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats, it provides a simple way to assess how a best strategy can be implemented. Hie tool helps planners to be realistic about what they can achieve, and where they should focus. It's simply a mean to capture the information so one can do the analysis later. The use of SWOT analysis continues to permeate the academic peer reviewed literature. Research supports SWOT analysis as a tool for planning purposes. As a methodology for strategic positioning, This paper provides a summary of the Research studies and suggests paths by SWOT for future research Readers should know the pit-falls and able to judge for themselves whether me chosen analytical method is correct The present article is based on textbooks of statistics, a selective review of the literature, and the authors own experience. This article suggest the guidelines for the presentation of survival analyses in medical journals, we examined the papers by SWOT and we hope these would be the complement on statistical guidelines recommended by several authors, we have carried out a systematic review of the appropriateness of the application and presentation of survival analyses in Medical journals. We have focused on the size of the studies being published, the adequacy of the description of the data analysed. The article adds value to the existing literature as the first, summary of SWOT research indicating its uses and limitations. Support of its usage and place in the strategic literature is validated.
