Industrial biotechnology company BioAmber Inc. in mid-July priced an underwritten registered offering of 2.8 mln shares of its common stock at a price of $12.00 per share, and granted the underwriters in the offering a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 420,000 shares of its common stock. The gross proceeds to the company are expected to be $33.6 mln. The offering will close on July 21, 2014, subject to customary closing conditions.
